(2) भाग्यांक (Number of Destiny)
मूलांक (Number of Psychology):
जिस जन्म तारीख को व्यक्ति का जन्म हुआ है, उस तारीख को मूलांक कहते हैं। परंतु यह ध्यान रखना बहुत जरूरी है कि यह अंक 1 और 9 के बीच में ही हो अगर 9 से अधिक है तो दोनों अंको को जोड़कर जो अंक बनेगा, वह मूलांक कहलाएगा। मानलीजिए जातक का जन्म तारीख 17-07-1964 है। दिनांक (17) को जोड़ेंगे 1+7=8 होगा। इस जातक का मूलांक 8 होगा।
भाग्यांक (Number of Destiny):
इसी प्रकार जन्म तारीख के सभी अंको को जोड़कर, जो एक संख्या बनता है, वह भाग्यांक कहलाता है। मानलीजिए जातक का जन्म तारीख 17-07-1964 है। जन्म तारीख (दिनांक, माह, वर्ष) को जोड़ेंगे (17-07-1964) 1+7+0+7+1+9+6+4=35 आया, अब क्योंकि अंक 1 से 9 के बीच होना है, इसको एक संख्या (नंबर) में लाना है। इसलिए 35 को फिर से जोडेंगे 3+5=8 होगा. इस जातक का भाग्यांक भी 8 होगा।
